Work with 14' and 24' ladders.
Self-contained breathing apparatus. See firsthand how much it weighs. Beat your Instructor's time!
NFPA says firefighters should be dressed and on the way to a fire in less than 2 minutes. Are you that good?
Walk away with an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR card if you can learn Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/choking. Card is good for 2 years. If there is time we will go over an abbreviated Stop the Bleed class as well (don't worry, we have gloves for you).

(No, that does not stand for "Put out the fire... Acknowledge greatness... Snapchat yourself... Selfie time.")
...Okay well putting out the fire is the overall goal anyway.
How tall can you get? Check out the 14', 24', and 35' ladders and get to climb them on a belay system for safety. As a special treat, the truck may be conveniently nearby for a 100' aerial ladder climb graduation photo at the end of the day... but that may just be a rumor.
Flow some H2O out of 1.5" (wildland) and 1.75" (structure) hoselines. Plus get up close and personal with how fire companies hook up to hydrants for water supply. Bring a towel, spare shoes, and spare socks for this one. Oh you think that's a joke?
Sawzalls, Axes, and Chainsaws oh MY! With a 1:1 Instructor to Student ratio, learn basics of power tool safety while wearing full PPE. Campers will cut wooden pallets with the power tools and chop the heck out of a log with the axes. Bonus points if you help sweep up all the sawdust at the end of the lesson. Points will be deducted each time an axe strikes the concrete.
